Bay Area Locksmith serves its residential and commercial clients through a variety of products and services related to the lock industry. Bay Area Locksmith was founded in 1989 by Dave and Rhonda Dresher and in 2006; Renee and Nick Nicholson purchased the company. Under new ownership, the company quickly grew through expanded services and investments in cutting-edge technology. Whether you are looking for your locks to be rekeyed or to be master keyed, we are your company. We sell electronic locks for your home, business, and safes. We can also handle your access control and electrified hardware needs. If it isn’t listed, just ask. If its lock related, chances are we do it!
Residential and Commercial Locksmith Services
Bay Area Alarm Pros was founded in 2010 by Nick Nicholson and Kyle Usher. Nick says, “Adding an alarm company to the group was a natural progression.” Bay Area Alarm Pros provides for all facets of home and commercial security. Selling and installing residential and commercial security systems with a cell backup or as a primary reporting system for those with no phone line at home is a core focus. CCTV (camera systems) is another one of our specialties. Our clients can now control their alarm, view cameras, lock and unlock doors, control lighting, and set thermostats for their smartphones or PC anywhere, anytime.
Our team is what makes us tick! At 15 years old, Nick Nicholson went to work at the local hardware store and developed an interest in locks and keys. He honed his skills even further when he went to work for Zelko’s Glass Annapolis Lock and Key and Zelko’s Security Systems in 1998. In 2006 after working there for several years, he and his wife Renee Nicholson bought Bay Area Locksmith. Nick is a graduate of the PCS course of Professional Locksmith’s and brings many years of experience. Kyle Usher, co-founder of Bay Area Alarm Pros, while in high school, discovered his love of electronics. He attended Votech to study electronics while in high school and then went on to Lincoln Tech to continue his studies. Kyle came into the industry in 2002 and in 2007 Nick asked Kyle to join the Bay Area team. We have a combined total of over 30 years of experience in the security field.
